Dr. Elizabeth Alvarez, M.D. founded Genesis Family Care, P.A. in 2005.

Dr. Alvarez  has been Board Certified in Family Medicine for 17 years.  She brings individual and compassionate care to her patients.  She is fluent in both English and Spanish and her courteous staff is also bilingual.

She received her Family Practice degree from Chicago, Illinois and has been practicing medicine in Katy for 20 years. 

Our mission

Ruth works in the front desk and she will greet you during your office visit and help you with your referrals and insurance questions.

She has hospital privileges at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital and Methodist West Houston Hospital.  

      Dr. Alvarez is a member of the Harris County Medical Society and the American Academy of Family Physicians.  She received her Bachelors degree in Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Houston and her medical degree at Autonomous University of Central America-Costa Rica.
